2026 Škoda Peaq: The new flagship electric SUV based on the Vision 7S. Discover its 645 km range, 86 kWh battery, and premium 7-seat design arriving in Summer 2026.

Škoda has revealed the first images of its new flagship SUV, the Peaq. The model’s name is derived from the word “peak”, reflecting its intended position at the top of the brand’s SUV lineup.
The Peaq represents the production interpretation of the Vision 7S concept, first unveiled in the summer of 2022, and is set to become Škoda’s largest and most premium SUV to date.
Teasers and spy renders provide a clear impression of the exterior design, which closely follows the concept car. The front end features horizontally split headlights, large lighting elements, and vertical LED accents, while the wide rear pillars contribute to a distinctive floating roof effect – a design cue commonly associated with luxury SUVs.

The new flagship is built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular electric platform, which underpins a wide range of EVs across brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, and Škoda. As a result, the Peaq will be offered exclusively as a fully electric model, with both single-motor and dual-motor configurations expected depending on the trim level.
According to preliminary information, the battery capacity could reach approximately 86 kWh, delivering an estimated driving range of up to 645 kilometers on a single charge. These figures would place the Peaq among the more competitive offerings in the upper segment of electric SUVs.

In terms of dimensions, the Peaq is expected to surpass both the Enyaq and Kodiaq, underlining its role as Škoda’s new flagship SUV. The official premiere is scheduled for summer 2026, with full technical specifications likely to be disclosed closer to launch.
With the Peaq, Škoda aims to expand its presence in the premium SUV segment and further strengthen its position in the electric vehicle market, offering a model that combines competitive technology with a design tailored to the expectations of a new generation of buyers.
